Official Rules:

1. No Purchase Necessary.

Contest is open to the members of the Facebook community. Employees and contractors of the Michigan Jaguars (including immediate family members or members of the household) and all other companies or entities associated with the Contest are not eligible to participate. Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement and acceptance of these Official Rules which shall be final in all respects.

2. How to Enter.

All entries, once submitted, become the property of the Michigan Jaguars and shall not be returned. Any incomplete entries will not be eligible. Only one entry is allowed per person.

3. Winning.

The Michigan Jaguars shall select all winners at its sole discretion. Winner will be notified via e-mail and facebook. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The Michigan Jaguars will be responsible for all applicable shipping and handling fees. If these rules differ from any promotional or other materials published in connection with the Contest, these rules shall control.

4. Conditions.

Prizes are non-transferable. No cash redemption or substitution will be allowed, except at the Michigan Jaguars’s sole discretion. The Michigan Jaguars also reserve the right to cancel or modify the Contest or these Official Contest Rules if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond The Michigan Jaguars’ reasonable control impairs the integrity of this Contest, as determined by the Michigan Jaguars, in its sole discretion. By participating, where allowable by law, entrant grants to by the Michigan Jaguars the worldwide right to publish, broadcast and use in any media, including the World Wide Web, participant’s entry, name, picture, and likeness, without limitation, for promotional and advertising purposes without additional compensation. Winner or winner’s guardian may be required, in the sole discretion of by the Michigan Jaguars, to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability release within ten (10) days of the issuance of such documents or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.

5. Liability.

By participating in this Contest, you (and if you are a minor, your parents or legal guardians) accept all risk and consequences of entry and participation in this Contest, and agree to release and hold by the Michigan Jaguars, its, employees and contractors harmless from any and all consequences, liability, losses, damages (including without limitation, consequential, punitive, incidental, special or increased damages and those related to personal injury, death or damage to property) and costs and expenses, of any kind, under any legal theory, arising from or related to this Contest, including but limited to your entry and participation in this Contest, the acceptance and/or use (or misuse) of any prize, printing errors, any claims based upon rights of publicity and invasion of privacy. Entrant shall indemnify the Michigan Jaguars, its employees and contractors from and against all claims or suits and any damages or costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or relating to entrant’s violation or inaccuracy of any warrantees or representations made relating to this Contest. The Michigan Jaguars assume no responsibility for errors which may occur in the transmission of entrant’s entry. The Michigan Jaguars are not responsible for any fraud or misconduct on the part of the entrants. Should an entrant engage in fraud or misconduct of any nature, including but not limited to a violation of the Official Rules, such entrant shall be subject to immediate disqualification. The Michigan Jaguars reserve the right to terminate, modify or amend the Contest at any time if the fairness, integrity, and or proper administration of the Contest is jeopardized. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE MICHIGAN JAGUARS BE LIABLE TO ENTRANT FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, OR FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS CONTEST. 6. Law.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of Michigan, United States of America, without regard to any choice of law principles. Entrant hereby agrees and irrevocably consents to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts of the State of Michigan and of the United States of America located in the State of Michigan, USA, for any and all claims arising from or related to this Agreement. Entrant agrees that all claims relating to this Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.

7. Entire Agreement.

These terms set forth the entire agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter hereof, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings relating thereto, whether oral or written. Facebook is not a sponsor nor an affiliate of this Contest.

U16 Boys Green National League Update

The Michigan Jaguars U16 Boys Green team just returned from Nationals in Las Vegas. The boys won 2 games and lost 1 to give them a very respectable 3rd place finish in the National League. Their overall record was 4 wins and 3 losses.

The first day they beat Beachside Soccer Club (CT) 3-0, the second day they beat West Pines United (FL) 3-0, and last day they lost 2-1 to Cup Crew Jr. Gold (OH). To see all game results, click here.

Spring Goalkeeping Sessions

The Spring Goalkeeping Sessions will begin Friday, April 20. There will be 5 sessions total each taking place on Friday evenings. For additional information, please click here.

Goalkeeping is open to any goalkeepers who play at least half of each game; if you don’t fall into this category you must contact Jim Grewe before attending any sessions. Each goalkeeper should bring a ball, long pants, long-sleeve shirt, shin-guards and goalkeeping gloves to all practices.

Olivia Brannon Called Up to U20 National Team

Olivia Brannon, a former Michigan Jaguar, has recently been added to the U20 Women’s National Team roster. Brannon is coming off a very succesfull freshman campaign at The University of Virginia, were she helped lead the Cavaliers to the NCAA Elite Eight. She will look to build on that success this spring when she joins the U20’s in their bid to qualify for the U20 Women’s World Cup. Qualifying begins this March in Panama and the top three teams from qualifying will book a spot in the World Cup this August at a site TBD. Congratulations to Olivia and good luck this spring.

Jaguars U15 Girls Green State Cup Champions!

Congratulations to the Michigan Jaguars U15 Girls Green for winning the 2011 Michigan State Cup Championship. The girls won in a shootout after two overtimes.

Great jobs girls and Coach Scobie!

Also, congratulations to the U14 Girls Green for making it to the Semi-Finals along with the U16 Girls Green, U17 Girls Gold and U18 Girls Green for making it to the Quarterfinals. Great job girls!
