Butler College Prep Camp
Open to High School aged Boys
July 12, 2015 – July 15, 2015

The camp is a valuable opportunity for High School aged prospects (9th – 12th Grade) to be coached in a quality environment with other elite players from all over the country. Highly rated college coaches from NCAA Division I, II, III universities as well as the NAIA level will be working the camp. The camp curriculum and level of instruction will reflect what a player can look to expect as a student-athlete at a collegiate soccer program: High Expectations, Competitive Practices and Games, Winning & Building Successful Teams.”

Butler Soccer Camps is proud to announce our partnership with the Meulensteen Academy. This exciting partnership brings an unprecedented “player developmental training model” to the Indianapolis area. It will create the opportunity for young players to train under the same methods that contributed to Manchester United becoming one of the most successful teams in the world.

After carefully studying the best players and the most successful teams on the planet, world famous soccer Coach Rene Meulensteen created a unique player development philosophy and training program. Rene successfully implemented his program into Manchester United’s youth system from 2001 – 2008. Rene’s progressive methodology and positive teaching skills soon caught the attention of Manchester United’s First Team Manager Sir Alex Ferguson. In 2008 Rene was promoted to “First Team Coach” and was asked by Sir Alex to implement the same development philosophy and training program into Manchester United’s First Team. Over the next five years Rene worked with some of the greatest players on the planet: Cristiano Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck, Robin Van Persie. Every single of one of his players have all commented about how Rene improved their technical, tactical, physical and mental skills. The main goals of the program are:
1) To develop creative & confident players
2) Teach players the skills needed to dominate the 1v1 situation
3) Design age and stage appropriate training
